Dietary supplement manufacturer Gummi World held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony for its new 55,000-square foot, multi-million dollar supplement facility in Chandler, Arizona, according to a press release published by the Arizona Commerce Authority on December 13. Gummi World president Alexander Candelario, alongside Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke and other city and community leaders, joined together to celebrate the opening of the facility, which will create hundreds of new jobs.
“We are so happy to be in Chandler," Candelario said. "Chandler has made us feel welcome- we feel we've found a home here for our new manufacturing facility."
“Today’s grand opening showcases Arizona’s leadership as a manufacturing powerhouse,” Arizona Commerce Authority President and CEO Sandra Watson said. “With this new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, Gummi World joins Chandler’s vibrant manufacturing landscape while bringing hundreds of skilled jobs to the area.”
“We are excited that Gummi World has chosen the West Chandler employment corridor for its new manufacturing facility,” Hartke said. “We appreciate Gummi World’s investment in Chandler and look forward to watching them grow in the years ahead.”
According to the release, Gummi World chose Chandler as the site for its new facility due to its high quality, experienced labor force and market reach. The company's presence in the area is already drawing from the Phoenix business community. Gummi World will be working with top-of-the-line machinery and specialized drying rooms, among other clients, to strengthen its production of gummy vitamins. Multiple conference rooms within the facility have also been established for prospective and current clients and partners to streamline the process.
