Buche Ace Hardware is celebrating three separate events throughout the month of November.
The company's parent, GF Buche Company -- which “owns and operates grocery, convenience, auto parts, and hardware/lumber stores, along with fast food restaurants, in 19 locations in 11 different communities throughout South Dakota” -- is celebrating its 117th anniversary. Buche Ace Hardware's Winner location is celebrating its grand opening, the Sisseton and Martin locations are celebrating their one-year anniversaries, and the Pine Ridge location is celebrating its third year being open since August 2019.
Each Buche Ace Hardware location is laser-focused on meeting the needs of its local community by offering products and services that customers have come to expect from a full-service Ace Hardware store. This includes solutions to everyday home maintenance needs and a large array of high-quality products in multiple categories, including paint, lawn and garden, tools, power tools, automotive, housewares, plumbing, hardware, electrical, cleaning, and outdoor living.
Buche Ace Hardware's Winner location also provides expert specialty services in paint color matching, wire cutting, rope cutting, chain cutting, auto key programming and cutting, screen repair, hunting and fishing licenses, acrylic sheet cutting, glass repair, STIHL power equipment repair, glass cutting, grill maintenance and repair, delivery and assembly, small engine repair and key cutting.
The Sisseton location has a farm and ranch department, an RV and marine department, and it also offers services in delivery and assembly, STIHL power equipment repair, auto key programming and cutting, paint color matching, acrylic sheet cutting, key cutting, live bait, propane refill/exchange, hunting and fishing licenses, screen repair, rentals, blade sharpening, small engine repair, and glass cutting.
The Martin location offers services in hunting and fishing licenses, auto key programming and cutting, carpet cleaning rentals, screen repairs, lumber, and building materials, delivery, key cutting, STIHL power equipment repair, paint color matching, rental, acrylic sheet cutting, propane refill/exchange, glass cutting, contracting center, and glass repair.
The Pine Ridge location offers services in live bait, propane refill or exchange, assembly, hunting/fishing licenses, paint color matching, auto key programming and cutting, and key cutting.

GF Buche Co. has been run by President RF Buche since 2000. RF Buche is the great-grandson of Gus "GF" Buche, who started the company in 1905 in Lake Andes, South Dakota. The company owns and operates stores in Gregory, Mission, Oacoma, Pine Ridge, Sisseton, and Wagner, as well as a CashSmart location in Scotland. Company-owned convenience stores can be found in Lake Andes, Mission, Wagner, and White River, as well as a Buche's Gus Top location in Wanblee.
